This painting features a managerie of small, uniquely-shaped empty vintage glass bottles arranged on a wooden shelf. They are illuminated in such a way that their age and patina are highlighted; the glass is almost glowing with fine, vein-like cracks. The smaller size of the bottles indicate that they were most likely once used to contain medicines, perfumes or skin tonics.
